What we do

We help local people, groups and services join the dots

The Lincoln North Rural Partnership Board brings local people, organisations and services together to solve real problems. We map what exists, spot the gaps, and work out answers with communities, not for them.

It covers the villages north of Lincoln, from Welton and Nettleham to Stow and beyond. This site is your starting point.

Why it matters here

Why it matters here

Rural communities here have real strengths: trusted relationships, dedicated volunteers and strong village identities. They also face real obstacles. Transport is patchy, services can be hard to reach, and the support that exists is scattered, so people don't always know what's available or who to ask.

This partnership exists to close those gaps.

About 40%
of people in the Imp Healthcare area can get to a GP on foot or by public transport.

How it works

Meet, map, follow through

  1. Meet

People from community groups, parish councils, health services, faith communities and residents get together each month, moving around the villages.

  2. Map

Between meetings we keep a picture of what exists locally up to date, and note the gaps people raise.

  3. Follow through

When the room agrees something is worth working on, a small group takes it forward and reports back next time.

What's happened since the gatherings

  • Done

Cherry cluster: Shared the notes and contact list after every gathering, so partners can reach each other directly between meetings.

  • Done

Welton and Dunholme cluster: Mapped 42 regular gatherings across our villages, so visiting services can go where people already are.

  • In progress

Stow villages: Introduced Stow Minster to CVS Lincolnshire's volunteering team, who are looking for welcomers.
